So what’s new? Busy as usual (busy busyhan, hehe)
I’ve earn million eye bags already, if only I can sell my eye bags, haha
I changed my plan for the exhibit, instead of acrylic on paper, I’ll use acrylic on canvas (same feather)
and all will be framed….
my mentor Dandel taught me how to make frames..
..so I will do it for the first time…
All is in progress, so far out of 7 paintings, I’m almost done with 5… but it still need to retouch… I hope I can finish it as soon as possible. Sorry for the low quality picture. I need to sleep now, zzzzzzzzzzzz!
Title:PAyong ng Ngiti
Meduim: Acrylic on Paper
This is one of the painting that will be hang on September, entitled “Payong ng Ngiti”. Inspired with the rain Philippines is experiencing these past few days. Despite the rain, there’s still many reason to smile, there’s color in rain and flood (just looking at the bright side) Good vibes always. Smile! 🙂
September is near approaching for the exhibit…. and it’s kinda worrying…I have nothing to hang yet…I have lots of things to share but…(busy kunwari eh)… I’m doing some commissioned portraits (na super babang commission, hihihi, pantawid gutom…pero thankful na din kesa wala). How much I wish to visit blogs…but this shit computer at home really *&@/…. mas mabagal pa sa kabagalan. Sorry, bawe bawe nalang pag may time 🙂
ASEAN-Philippines Painting Contest
Lately I joined ASEAN-Philippines Painting Contest… I jumped with happiness when I received an email from the DFA that I qualified as one of the 30 semi-finalist weeks ago. I became speechless… for being a semi-finalist is already a big achievement… it’s my first time to qualify in national competition. It gave me hope, and I prayed that it will win, or if not, just qualify to 12 finalist.
The awarding date has passed and I didn’t receive any email from them… so I felt sad (I already knew what does it mean)… but it’s totally ok 🙂 Win or lose, it was a great experience.
But today, August 15, 2013, when I opened my email, I received an email from them that I am one of the 12 FINALIST. WOW!! (tears of joy). Thank You Lord :))))))))))

Finally I am done with my painting, my entry for ASEAN-PHILIPPINES PAINTING CONTEST, with the theme “Our People, Our Future Together”.
The Painting contest is an initiative of the Philippines to commemorate the 46th founding anniversary of ASEAN in the Philippines and bring ASEAN in the consciousness of the Filipino and promote ASEAN identity in support of the establishment of ASEAN community by 2015.
After tons of eye bags, and kilometer of patience.. at last! Wew!
“We, the Filipino people are the creator of our tomorrow. Being proud of our roots and knowing who we are will reap a successful nation. Together let’s be one in raising ASEAN community. Let’s plant a seed of oneness, peace, friendship, respect and let’s watch it grow. Counting our blessing one by one, side by side will see each other through”
Sali lang ng sali… 🙂 Surely something good will happen, all efforts will be worth it..just add more kilometer of patience in the journey..higher faith..and most of all PRAYERS 🙂 God Bless. I sent my entry a while back… hopefully it will reach tomorrow-the deadline. Woooow.

Ito entry ko para sa SHELL student painting contest 2013, sana this time I can make it. Lagi ako sumasali, sali lang ng sali, pero kung hindi man ako palarin manalo, I’m still happy 🙂 Priceless naman ang mga natutunan ko sa bawat kompetisyon na salihan ko. “In every competitiom, it’s not always winning, but self development on how can we become better next time around” JLo quotes, hehehe!

There are times in our life that we become speechless with so many things happening to us that we don’t understand. We ask ourselves, why this happen? Why me? We become speechless, letters jumbled like problems, but if we’ll just connect this letters we could build a word, and in that word we will understand better, and these words will build our own identity (ano daw? haha)
